Upon arrival at the airport, our friendly staff will warmly welcome you and provide a comfortable transfer to your hotel in Kandy. You can relax and unwind after your long flight and enjoy an overnight stay at the Grand Kandyan or a similar hotel.
Get an early start at 7 am as we head to Knuckles Valley for an exhilarating hiking experience. As we ascend, you'll pass tea estates, waterfalls, and breathtaking panoramic views. Keep an eye out for the many bird species and wildlife that inhabit the area. Spend the night in a jungle camp and enjoy a traditional BBQ dinner.
After breakfast in the jungle camp, we'll begin our descent through the tea plantations and sparkling waterfalls. You'll have the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the cool water. We'll drop you back off at your hotel in Kandy in the evening, where you can relax and reminisce about your Knuckles Valley adventure.
On our way to Meemure, we'll stop by Mini Worlds End for a 2-hour trek to the top of Deanston Mountain, offering stunning panoramic views. The journey through the Pinus forests will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Spend the night at a homestay in Meemure.
Experience the traditional village life of Meemure with a trek through the jungle, where you'll discover hidden natural beauty. Play water games in the river with seven waterfalls and enjoy a traditional lunch. In the evening, learn about traditional village life in the paddy fields, vegetable gardens, and home gardens. Overnight stay at the homestay in Meemure.
On our way to Mahiyanganya, we'll visit Rathna Ella, which contributes to the irrigation and paddy cultivation of the country, and Lake Sorabora, which contains a natural stone sluice for water exit. Spend the night at Mapakada Village or a similar hotel.
Experience the day-to-day life of the Dambana Veddas tribe and participate in their traditional activities like shooting arrows, lighting fire, and traditional dancing. Spend the night at Cavendish Wild Safari or a similar hotel in Wasgamuwa.
Get up early for a 6 am jeep safari through the Wasgamuwa National Reserve, where you'll have the opportunity to see wild elephants, bird species, crocodiles, deer, and other mammals. With luck, you may even spot a leopard. In the evening, return to the Melheim Resort and Spa or a similar hotel in Haputale.
Travel from your residence at 7 am and visit the highest waterfall, Babarakanda, before embarking on a full-day trekking tour. Discover old tea trails, isolated tea villages, and breathtaking southern coastal areas. Spend the night at the Hill Safari Tea Estate Villa or a similar hotel in Ohiya.
Embark on a scenic train journey from Ohiya to Ella to witness breathtaking landscapes. From Ella, you will travel to the southern coast by car and reach the renowned “Hirikitiya” beach - a surfer's paradise. Spend the night at Seacoast Sanctuary Beach Hotel or a similar accommodation in Hirikitiya.
Enjoy a day of self-indulgence at the famous Hirikitiya beach, known for its surfing culture and ideal waves for beginners. Surfing boards are readily available for rent from local shops, catering to surfers of all levels. Soak up the sun and unwind at this picturesque location. Overnight stay at Seacoast Sanctuary Beach Hotel or similar accommodation in Hirikitiya.
With no scheduled activities, you will be transferred to the airport as per your flight departure time.
